Defining “RE:GENERATION”

'GENERATION'

<GEN.ER.A.TION> A group of individuals, most of whom are the same age and having the same problems and attitudes.

'RE'

<RE> {a prefix} signifying ‘again’ or ‘anew’.

'REGENERATION'

<RE.GEN.ER.A.TION> {to be regenerate} Every generation needs the same thing. To be recreated, to be reconstituted, to be made over, to be revived, to be renewed, to be produced anew, to be restored, to be born again spiritually. Every generation needs a complete reform. Every generation needs to undergo regeneration.


Where does RE:GENERATION begin?

Gospel

1With the GOSPEL. It must begin with the gospel. It is the truth of this gospel that has the power to renew, the power to change…this gospel is power and regeneration must begin here. Click here to find out more about the gospel.

Repentance

2With REPENTANCE. Any change requires us to recognize that things aren’t right the way they are. Things need to change and in order to do that we must turn and repent. To find out more about repentance, click here.

Belief

3With BELIEF. For this change to be complete, we must believe. Believe in something other than ourselves, believe in something bigger than ourselves, believe in something worthy. To find out what our belief should be in click here.

Things to Consider:
1) Are you known to be a Christian in your schools and amongst your friends?
2) Does it benefit the gospel for you to be known as a Christian in your school and amongst your friends?
3) Consider that by sharing your faith, you might be spurring another Christian in your school to boldly and courageously share the gospel (just like Paul encouraged the Philippian church)
4) What are you most passionate about?.
